MIHS Varsity Advances in KingCo/District Tournament

Nov. 3, 2016 - MIHS Varsity wins 2-1 over Holy Names.

The Mercer Island girls soccer team narrowly defeated Holy Names Academy 2-1. Jordan Snyder put the Islanders on the board in the 26th minute, scoring off an assist from Emily Arron. Nov. 1, 2016 - MIHS Varsity wins 2-1 over Lake Washington and advances to the Metro Crossover.

Lake Washington (11-6-1) led 1-0 after a goal in the 17th minute. The Islanders (10-6-2) responded in the 38th minute, when Kendall Riley found the back of the net off an assist from Jordan Snyder. Oct. 29, 2016 - MIHS Varsity wins 2-1 over Redmond High School

The Mercer Island girls soccer team beat the Redmond Mustangs in penalty kicks to win its KingCo 3A tournament loser-out matchup 2-1.  Camryn Steiner gave the Islanders (9-6-2) a 1-0 halftime lead with a goal off an assist from Nicole Mandt in the 39th minute.   Read the complete article by the Mercer Island Reporter.
